If you are interested in high quality, unique writing instruments you have come to the right place. If you want are satisfied
with your cheapo bic then you have come to the wrong place. I make high quality hand-crafted writing instruments. They range
from simple twist pens and click pens to rollerballs and fountain pens. Wood choices include common domestic woods such as
walnut and maple to exotic hardwoods from around the world such as wenge, paduk, and bocote. The patterns range from mild
to wild. If you have interest in a specific style, color, or wood please contact me to design a custom pen.
The pens
come in a variety of finishes since people have different tastes and needs. Some have a resilient glossy finish while others
have a warmer oil and wax finish which requires a little more maintanence but allows you to have a better feel for the wood
itself.
Most pens use Cross or Parker inserts which can be purchased at any office supply store with choices of roller
ball, ball point, and gel inks.
The pens shown here will be repesentatives of the type and style of work for the simple
pens. For the more figured exotic woods I will try and keep current pictures of the actual pen on the site.
I am not a professional photographer or web-designer. I do the web site for fun so I can have more time in the
woodshop, so no comments about it's lack of fancy designs.
